Founded in South Africa in 2010, Nucleus Mining Logistics has developed a strong African footprint built around the complex requirements of mining, project cargo and cross-border supply chains.
Through strategically positioned operations in South Africa, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Namibia, Nucleus combines local knowledge, regional infrastructure and international freight capabilities to manage cargo from supplier through to final destination.
Our approach goes beyond moving freight. We integrate planning, procurement, expediting, warehousing, customs coordination, transport, inventory control and final-mile delivery to create practical supply-chain solutions built around each client's operational requirements.

The foundation of our regional logistics network.
South Africa provides the central platform for Nucleus' regional and international logistics operations. From Johannesburg and Durban, we coordinate procurement, freight, warehousing, quality control, project logistics and cross-border movements throughout Southern, Central and Eastern Africa.
Our South African operation connects international suppliers with African projects and operations through road, air, ocean and multimodal transport solutions.

Nucleus Mining Logistics Zambia
At the heart of the Copperbelt.
Based in Kitwe, Nucleus Zambia provides a strategic logistics and warehousing platform serving Zambia, the Copperbelt and neighbouring DRC.
With bonded warehousing, cargo receipt and GRV control, inventory management, customs support and regional distribution capabilities, the Zambia operation allows clients to position inventory closer to their mines and projects while maintaining greater visibility and control over their supply chain.
Nucleus Logistics Namibia
A western gateway connecting global trade with
Southern and Central Africa.
Based in Walvis Bay, Nucleus Logistics Namibia combines port access, substantial bonded warehousing and multimodal logistics capabilities with specialist services supporting the offshore, oil & gas and maritime sectors.
The operation provides an important western logistics corridor for cargo moving through Walvis Bay towards Zambia and the DRC, while also supporting southbound commodity movements from Central Africa to global markets.
Congo Project Logistics - DRC
Local capability where complex logistics demand local knowledge.
Congo Project Logistics gives the Nucleus network an established operational presence in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
With facilities and operations supporting Lubumbashi, Kolwezi and Kamoa, CPL provides warehousing, cargo handling, receiving, cross-docking and local distribution capability within one of Africa's most important mining regions. This local presence connects international and regional freight movements directly into DRC mining operations.
